The Meta Search Engine is comprised of two separate forms. This form is for the United States and contains sites such as Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com, Indeed and Yahoo Hot Jobs. We have a separate Meta Search Engine for Canada. The Career Meta Search form contains options for Keywords, Location, Job Category, and a variety of other filters as well as the Career Sites to be included in the search. Not all of the Sites use all of the form options but all the selections are necessary to get reliable results from all the sites. For example, some job sites use a combination of City and State others use the MSA designation. Your selections are saved so you only have to complete the form once unless you change your search criteria. Once the form is submitted you should have the results in 15-30 seconds. Multiple career sites can be included in each search and 8-10 sites should not be a problem. Several of the Career Sites use "sessions" or gateway pages. These sites will not return "Jobs Found" information and the information is listed as "Unknown" The actual search results can be viewed by refreshing the new browser window or activating a new session.
